Our weekday prayer focus themes are derived directly from Sunday’s teachings. They are daily reminders to start our day in reflection and heartfelt thankfulness to God. Beginning each day in this manner reinforces our faith and aligns our thoughts and actions with God’s will, fostering a sense of peace and purpose. We invite you to join us in this spiritual practice as we collectively seek to grow closer to God.

The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” – 2 Chronicles 16:9.
Lord, Your eyes are searching the whole earth right now, looking for hearts that are fully committed to You — and I want to be one of those people. Search my heart today, and where You find half-hearted devotion or places where I’ve been drifting, strengthen me and draw me back to You. I want to say YES to You — all of You — and I trust that a life fully committed to You is the best life I could ever live. Amen.

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” – Proverbs 4:23.
Lord, Your Word reminds me that my heart is the starting point for everything — the direction of my life, the shape of my character, and the person I’m becoming. So today I ask You to help me guard it well. Show me what I’ve been giving my heart to, and where those things are pointing me, and give me the courage to make a change. I want my commitments to reflect what I truly value most, and I trust You to help me become the person You created me to be — one decision at a time. Amen.

Then Jesus said to the crowd, ‘If any of you wants to be My follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow Me’” – Luke 9:23.
Lord, as I begin my day, I choose You — not my own agenda, not my own comfort, not my own way. I ask You to help me make that same choice every single day when my feet hit the floor. Where I’ve been trying to follow You on my own terms, forgive me, and remind me that You have more than earned first place in every corner of my life. I don’t want to be a casual follower — I want to be an all-in-one — and I trust that a life surrendered to You daily is the fullest, freest life I could ever live. Amen.
Thursday, June 11
The attractions of this world, the delights of wealth, the search for success, and the lure of nice things come in and crowd out God” – Mark 4:19.
Lord, I know that the things pulling at my attention today aren’t all bad — but I don’t want the good things in my life to quietly crowd You out of first place. Show me honestly where my focus has been drifting, and help me recognize when success, comfort, or the busyness of life is slowly taking the space that belongs to You alone. I want You to be my main thing — not an afterthought. Help me keep my eyes fixed on what matters most. Amen.

Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically” – Romans 12:11.
Lord, I don’t want to be a coasting Christian — settling, drifting, and missing everything You have for me. So today I ask You to reignite the fire in my heart and keep it burning strong. Where complacency has crept in and made itself comfortable, expose it, and replace it with a fresh enthusiasm for serving You and growing in You. God, I’m all Yours — everything I’ve got belongs to You — and I believe that’s exactly where Your blessing is. Amen.
