Our weekday prayer focus themes are derived directly from Sunday’s teachings. They are daily reminders to start our day in reflection and heartfelt thankfulness to God. Beginning each day in this manner reinforces our faith and aligns our thoughts and actions with God’s will, fostering a sense of peace and purpose. We invite you to join us in this spiritual practice as we collectively seek to grow closer to God.
Message Shared on Sunday, Feb. 9
Message Summary for February 9:
In this weekend’s message, Pastor Tony discusses the journey of Peter, emphasizing the importance of saying “YES” to Jesus amidst worries and uncertainties. The message highlights a miraculous moment when Jesus provides for Peter’s needs after he obeys His request to let down the nets despite having caught nothing all night. We see how obedience to Jesus opens the door for blessings, encouraging believers to trust Him with their needs. Ultimately, the message reassures us that Jesus knows our needs even before we are aware of them and calls us to follow Him.

When Jesus had finished speaking, He said to Simon, ‘Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.’
‘Master,’ Simon replied, ‘we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if You say so, I’ll let the nets down again’” – Luke 5:4-5.
Lord, I come to You with a heart open to Your guidance and direction. Help me trust You fully, even when what You ask of me is difficult or doesn’t make sense to me. I know that Your blessings and provision follow my obedience, so strengthen me to walk in faith and take the steps You have called me to take, believing that You will meet my every need in Your perfect way. Amen.

So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs” – Matthew 6:31-32.
Lord, thank You for knowing my heart and understanding every need I carry, even when I struggle to express it. When fear and loneliness creep in, remind me of Your constant presence and unfailing love. I trust in Your provision and care, believing that You hold every aspect of my life in Your hands. Amen.

Jesus noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So Jesus sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there” – Luke 5:2-3.
Lord, there are times when I come to You feeling tired, overworked, and overwhelmed. Help me to trust that You see my needs—both the ones I’m aware of and the deeper ones I don’t yet understand. Teach me to lean on You, knowing that in Your perfect timing, You will provide for me in ways beyond what I can imagine. Amen.
