Our weekday prayer focus themes are derived directly from Sunday’s teachings. They are daily reminders to start our day in reflection and heartfelt thankfulness to God. Beginning each day in this manner reinforces our faith and aligns our thoughts and actions with God’s will, fostering a sense of peace and purpose. We invite you to join us in this spiritual practice as we collectively seek to grow closer to God.

Then the Lord spoke to Jonah a second time: ‘Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh and deliver the message I have given you” – Jonah 3:1-2.
Father, thank You for being the God who came to Jonah a second time and gave him another chance to obey. When I have run from what You asked or fallen short, remind me that Your call returns to me with grace and not with rejection. Give me a willing heart today to go where You send me and to say and do what You place before me. Amen.
Tuesday, September 8
This time Jonah obeyed the Lord’s command and went to Nineveh, a city so large that it took three days to see it all” – Jonah 3:3.
Father, thank You that when Jonah finally obeyed, he went, trusting You one step at a time into a place far bigger than himself. Teach me to answer Your call the same way, not waiting until I understand everything but walking forward in simple obedience. Give me the courage to follow where You lead, even when the task feels larger than I am. Amen.
Wednesday, September 9
When God saw what they did and how they had turned from their evil ways, He relented and did not bring on them the destruction He had threatened” – Jonah 3:10.
Father, thank You that when the people of Nineveh turned from their sin, You saw their hearts and showed them mercy instead of judgment. Remind me that You are always ready to forgive when I come to You in genuine repentance, and that Your compassion is greater than my failures. Turn my heart toward You today, and help me to trust that Your mercy meets every step I take back to You. Amen.
Thursday, September 10
Walk with Me and work with Me — watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me, and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly” – Matthew 11:28-30.
Father, thank You for calling me to come to You when I am weary and weighed down, and for promising to give my soul rest. Help me to walk closely with You and learn from You, trusting that Your heart is gentle and kind toward me. Remind me today that living Your way is light, so I can lay down what I was never meant to carry alone. Amen.
Friday, September 11
Lord, will You revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You!” – Psalm 85:6.
Father, thank You that You are the God who brings life back to what has grown tired and cold, ready to revive me again. Stir something fresh in me today and awaken my heart to know You more deeply and love You more truly. Renew my joy in You, so that I might rejoice in Your goodness with gladness. Amen.
